DANIEL J. SCOTT
Daniel J. Scott is a proud New
Jersey native, which you don’t find many of whose names
aren’t Bon Jovi, Springsteen, or Soprano. After graduating
from Rutgers with a BA in Theater, Dan has pursued his
acting career while performing a wide variety of day jobs.
These have included being a substitute teacher, arts
education administrator and instructor, touring full time
with the Shoestring Players and Educational Theater, temping
for a construction company, and waiting tables for a very
short and depressing period of time at Chili’s. While doing
all that, Dan has managed to perform in several children’s
theater productions and plays in New Jersey and New York,
including original works performed in the New York Fringe
Festival and the American Theatre of Actors. He has also
appeared in several student and independent films, and
created the character of “Bootleg Barry” for the web series
“Mutiny City News” (www.mutinycitynews.com).
Recent credits include the TV pilot “Bloodhounds”, “Grimm
House”, “The 21st Century Rip Van Winkle”, and “HFC” (www.cinemasports.com),
which was named as a CinemaSports Editor’s Pick. |
