Like any good office employee, Cubicle
is a fervent multi-tasker. It performs both short-form and long-form
improvisation, as well as sketch comedy. Cubicle’s shows incorporate
traditional sketch comedy, original musical numbers with
accompanying dance routines and professionally produced video
pieces.
The members of Cubicle have been performing together for just over a
year but have already distinguished themselves in the competitive
New York comedy scene. They are regular performers at the People’s
Improv Theater, The Improv and the National Comedy Theatre and have
been invited to perform at festivals nationwide including the
Philadelphia Improv Festival (PA), the dcComedyfest (DC), the
Oberlin College Improv Conference (OH), Sketchstock 3000 (NYC), The
42nd Underground (NYC) and the P.I.T.’s Hurricane Relief Benefit
Invitational (NYC).
Cubicle’s greatest success came in June, 2005 when they won the
title of “The Funniest Sketch Group in New York City” at the
National Comedy Theater’s annual sketch competition. |
