ABOUT

SKETCH

Cubicle is a New York-based group that believes in the continuing evolution of comedy by combining long-form improvisation and sketch. The concepts for all of our sketches come from free-form improvisation and are then refined until the final form of the piece emerges. The final product, however, is not a fully-written sketch but an outline that leaves space for improvisation mid-performance.

In combining these two styles, Cubicle is able to produce award winning sketch comedy that is different at every single performance.

IMPROV

Cubicle’s members have studied improvisation at places such as the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, The Magnet Theater, Improv Olympic and Universities across the US. The style that Cubicle performs in is, as of yet, unnamed but consists of two sets of duo-logues tied together by scenes that flow into each other, incorporating tag-outs, time dashes and multiple callbacks.

The Cubicle Workforce includes: Cesar Gracia, Leslie Korein, Lynne Rosenberg, Daniel J. Scott, Michael Solis and Justin Tyler.
